Abstraction Point: Terms of Registration

By registering here, you agree to read the following list of rules, and follow them. Failure to do so may be grounds for indefinite bans and/or account removal.

Part I - General Rules
1. Have fun
2. If you have questions, comments, or concerns, please let us know. If you have issues with another user, there is an Ignore User function provided for your convenience.
3. Don't be excessively whiny. If you have personal issues, tell the administrators once. We'll deal with it.
4. NO FLAME WARS. Let's even take that a step further and say no needless bashing. We appreciate joking around, but bashing other users is unacceptable, and a detriment to everyone's sanity.
5. NO RACISM WHATSOEVER. It's bannable to the extreme! Be nice.

Part II - Forum Posting
1. No spam, except in designated area.
2. No using "lol," "u," "r," or "l33t" excessively. Also, if you can't type English properly, we suggest enlisting the help of a dictionary. If we must tell you to repost your posts in English because we can't understand them, you're doing something wrong. "HOWIMINEFORFISH?" You don't be a newbietard, that's how.
3. No excessive smilies. We don't care if you're the most excited person in the world. You can type it out with a single smilie, we get what you mean.
4. No useless posts. If you post a single word post, a single smilie, or a post with a bunch of empty space in it, it does nobody any good. So don't do it.
5. No doubleposting. It's a waste of space. We have an EDIT POST function for your convenience, PLEASE USE IT.
6. Limit your profanity. We, the staff, are guilty ourselves of slipping sometimes, and as such, we don't mind if you let one slip on occasion. However, try to be reasonable and keep this community family-friendly.
7. NO REFERRAL LINKS. We're not here to get you a free iPod, XBox, or whatever it is you're craving. You have your own friends for that.
8. Keep it PG-13. No porn, please. Those interested know how to find it well enough. We don't need your help, and neither do people who should/do not want to.

Part III - User Rules
1. No obscene or profane user names, signatures, or other profile info.
2. Avatars should be 80px by 80px or less.
3. Signature images should be no larger than 520 by 120. Also, your signature should not be larger than about 5 lines of text. It gets annoying when we see more signature content than topic content. Tips for smaller signatures: Avoid userbars, unless you have an animated one that rotates them all. Don't cram your biography into your signature. Put in useful information, or a link to said useful information.

Part IV - Posted Content
1. Users are to only post their own creations, or other content which they are qualified to share. Don't post your favorite band's tracks because you like them. That is not legal. You may, however, suggest to us to find that song, and we'll gladly listen ourselves.
2. No pornography shall be posted here.
3. Any audio (this is a music community, right?) that may be considered offensive should be labeled as Parental Advisory content.
4. All posted content should have an accompanying license with it. A good suggestion is Creative Commons.
5. Any audio that infringes upon copyrights (meaning, you stole sans permission) is subject to be deleted, and the user posting content is subject to be banned.
6. Feel free to post any/all data related to your creations! We accept MP3, OGG, FLAC, MMP, MIDI, FLP, and others, in terms of music. We also will take JPG, GIF, PNG, TXT, and other image or text files. If for some reason you have trouble, please let the staff know immediately.

Part V - The End
1. Last, but not least, we would like to remind you once again of the most important rule: HAVE FUN!
